v1.0.1 - Party Project v99 support!

It's been a while!

Never would have I expected the overwhelming response of the Party Project community when I released the board editor 2 months ago. Since then, you all have gone on lots of new, exciting adventures on unexplored lands with custom boards. It makes me happy to see a community showcase some of its prime work when it comes to board design, and I've played on some REALLY good ones!

I apologize if there had been no updates for a while. Simply put, there were just no bugs with the first version at all! Was NOT expecting it to be that stable! One of my biggest worries is having the whole thing break for everyone on the first day. Now, I relieve this fear, as the possibility of things breaking increases the more I update this...

..oh, and speaking of updates, Party Project did get an update earlier this month, right? New boards, items, and minigame reworks!

Immediately as soon as it released, I went hard at work on the next version of Party Project Workshop. It actually only took less than 2 hours to add support for the new version! Of course, there were some bugs I had to fix, but today I can finally release this updated version of the original Workshop tool with added support for v99, and ALL of it's hotfixes!

Community Showcase

Here's something neat I would like to do with each update: a little community showcase featuring some quality boards made by the community! I feel like it would be a good idea to boost some boards that I feel are very solid in design, aesthetic, and replicability.

Let's show a few that the community has made!

Banzai Bill's Manic Mountain

This one immediately catches my eye just from the artwork alone! It's really beautiful just to look at, and playing on the board is just as fun. This is actually inspired off of an Island Tour board, which is really interesting to see how one managed to transform what was just a short gimmick board into a fully-fledged classic Mario Party board. There's lots of fun ways to blast throughout this board, so do give it a try!

Bewilder Bayou

This is another solid pick I would really recommend. The number of junctions & choices you'll have to make makes this board stand out in a bewildering way. You'll be racking up stars quickly, but that also means the same for your opponents. This is a board you don't want to skip a beat on when playing, as the tide can shift dramatically each turn!

Penultimate Climb

This one is really unique! A giant tower looms over the board... do you dare make the trek to the top? This board is very heavily focused on events, lots of opportunities to turn the game around! Where will the wind take you to next on this board?

Heaven World!

Welcome to heaven world! Here, you'll make unexpected alliances to push your way towards victory... until the time comes to betray them and take the glory all for yourself! This Ryhthm Heaven-inspired board is packed with references for all you rhythm-hungry fans!

Chaos Castle

This Mario Party 10-inspired board takes 'chaos' to a whole other level when you step foot in this board. Watch out for the star-shaped island on the upper left. You'll be sorry if you overstay your welcome there...
